This workshop series introduces and explores historical thinking and how to implement it in the history-social science classroom. Topics will include:

  • Developing/using investigation questions
  • Introducing and differentiating between primary and secondary sources
  • Methods for questioning sources
  • The Big Six Historical Thinking Concepts
  • Aligning to the Common Core State Standards for Literacy
